Why these are not a direct download
Two reasons, and neither is a marketing trick. These documents get revised as requirements change, and sending them by hand means you get the current version rather than whatever was uploaded eighteen months ago. It also means I know who is using them, which tells me what to add.
There is no sequence of follow up emails attached. You ask, I send it, that is the end of it unless you write back.
